Where to Find Best Realtors in Loreto Mexico

Finding the right realtor in Loreto can be a challenge. A few things you should consider when selecting a real estate agent is how long the realtor has lived in Loreto, how long they’ve been in real estate and whether or not they work alone, or as a team.

While many standalone agents are excellent, we believe there is more value in a team. Working with a team is important as it increases response time and availability. Often, solo-run agents are double-booked when you need their attention, and you may lose that perfect property.

Located in downtown Loreto, Outpost Realty is a full-service, dedicated team of real estate professionals including myself, Jay,  as well as two knowledgeable agents and one closing agent. Our team works 7 days a week and are experts in the transfer process, as well as the bank trusts.

I (Jay Yadon) am the Founder and CEO of the Outpost Community LLC, a group of thriving businesses that service Loreto. From my successful charter fishing company, Outpost Charters, to Outpost Realty, I bring my expertise to the local Loreto community through improved education, housing, and employment opportunities. My love for Loreto is reflected in my passion project, the non-profit Outpost Montessori, which has a mission to provide a proven and bilingual education through the Montessori philosophy for the youth of Loreto.

Hailing from California, Jeanne Reilly built her own waterfront dream home in Loreto. A multi-talented, entrepreneur and experienced real estate agent, Jeanne owned and operated a California-based movie theater, restaurant and nightclub prior to moving to Baja, Mexico. She also brings a formidable amount of marketing experience to her current role as she is the former owner of the San Francisco marketing firm, Pure Logic Marketing.

Alexander Ogilvie‘s real estate began in Alberta, Canada in the 1980’s. When he was given the opportunity to take his skillset down to the Baja Peninsula of Mexico, he seized the day and has been operating there ever since. More than just a visitor enjoying Loreto’s natural splendor, Alexander calls Loreto his home. Having embraced the local people and culture he has become a regular participant in community building activities and fundraisers that include helping raise funds for museums, wildlife and even a baseball stadium.

Baja native Erika Celena Mendez Drew grew up in the port city of Ensenda. She attended school in Phoenix, Arizona before returning to Mexico where she worked as an IT assistant for five years, then as a maintenance planner at the Boleo Mine in Santa Rosalía. Now, as an agent/transaction coordinator at Outpost Realty in Loreto, Mexico, Erika has embraced an incredible chapter of her life. She is passionate about her role in helping people buy the house of their dreams in this incredible location that she has come to love.
