Dee Wise – Realtor
Dee was born in Cincinnati and moved to Portland, Oregon at the age of 22. After earning a BA in Social Work, she worked with families and children in the field of adoption for fifteen years. Dee learned a lot about the world of business and marketing when she became a recruiter for an executive search firm. Having grown up in a family of realtors, it was no surprise that she eventually began selling houses. She received her Oregon license in 2000.
Dee divides her time between Loreto and Portland, living and working in Loreto from November to May. The diverse natural beauty, social, economic and cultural experiences of Mexico have always fascinated her and drew her to this historic seaside town. She enjoys Spanish lessons, community events and activities, local food, kayaking and spending time at the beach with her Mexican dog, Sophie. Helping the dogs of Loreto is also a cause close to her heart. She was instrumental in developing SOAR (Supporting Oregon Animal Rescue) which sends dogs from Loreto to shelters in Portland. Theresa Storm — Listing Writer
Theresa’s public relations career included writing and editing for the non-profit, oil and gas, education, commercial real estate, and public service sectors. But itchy feet urged Theresa to travel. To pursue her dream, she launched a writing and editing business. Passionate about soft adventure, ecotourism and culture, Theresa explores the world for award-winning travel features in publications including WestJet Magazine, DK Eyewitness Caribbean guide, Getting on Travel e-zine, and the Postmedia newspapers (the largest Canadian news chain).
While work first brought her to Loreto Bay, back in the development’s early days, Theresa’s close friends own property here, which enticed her and her husband back to visit and now to snowbird. Working with the Momentum team, she enjoys the challenge of discovering what makes each property special and bringing it to life. She feels like she is playing with fire, however, as the active lifestyle and friendly folks of Loreto Bay and the town of Loreto are luring and the Storms don’t know how long they can resist buying a place.
